At the start of August I had the pleasure of providing the photography for the wonderful wedding of Amy & James. A young energetic couple who spent the whole day at this idyllic castle venue amongst the Devonshire countryside.

Bickleigh Castle holds an important place for me, as it’s where I conducted one of my first weddings back in 2010. What an incredible journey it has been since then, and it’s always amazing to re-visit this hugely popular wedding location.

Amy & James got married in the elegant Great Hall before having a religious ceremony in the near by chapel across the court yard. The couple then enjoyed spending some time with their guest around the picturesque garden surroundings, before being seated for a wondrous wedding wedding breakfast meal in the barn. Following the speeches then proceeded one of the best parties I have ever seen. A fitting day of laughter, celebrations and gratitude for the marvellous celebration of the marriage of Amy & James.
