On a unseasonal rainy September day, I had the pleasure of documenting the wonderful wedding of Emily & Rich.

The day was spent at St Mellion International Resort. A wonderful contemporary venue nestled amongst the pristine Cornwall countryside. The couple spent the whole day here, where I began my coverage at the bridal preparation.

The preparation was fun, energetic, and busy. I knew immediately that the day was going to be fabulous to photograph.  The resort also allows people to use their function rooms to get ready in. A fantastic idea when it gives you so much more space, and a spectacular view overlooking the countryside to enjoy while having breakfast.

An elegant ceremony followed, with the father of the bride Mike, proudly escorting Emily down the isle, before an attentive gathering jubilantly watched the proceedings. There was then some social time with guests and family enjoying conversation, with a fabulous Artist from Cornwall Caricatures drawing fun caricatures of the guests.

I remember the rest of the day being full of laugher, smiles, great food, and lots of fun! Speeches were wonderful with the predicable embarrassment laid down by the best man towards Rich, and some heart warming sentiments from the father of the bride and Rich towards Emily. The party was of course lively, with fantastic music and some equality fantastic shapes being thrown on the dance floor. A perfect way to end a perfect day of celebration!
