Wedding Photographer Cornwall – A Sunny Day at Mount Edgcumbe

For this weekend, I wanted to share another preview from the wonderful recent Cornwall wedding of Catrin & John. I alway suggest to couples that it can be nice to have a leisurely walk around their venue for portraits. On this occasion, the venue was the wonderful Mount Edgecombe Park. We stumbled by this water edge location by chance and couldn’t resist taking a few portraits. The late evening sunlight shimmered wonderfully along the water’s edge creating a wonderful calming atmosphere to the scene.

Evening Light

It was wonderful to spend time with Catrin & John around the lush country grounds of Mount Edgcumbe. The low evening sun blanketed the landscape in a wonderfully soft light. There was a coolness to the swirling air as evening approached, which was nice before the energetic evening took hold. Catrin & John were so natural around the camera, there was no need for me to direct them in any way.

Forthcoming weddings

Next weekend, I am back to being a busy wedding photographer Cornwall. I have two wonderful weddings to look forward to. On Friday I will be spending the day with Lynsey and Jason at Langdon Court. Then the Saturday I will be venturing to the Great Parish Church of St Kew for a morning ceremony with Laura & David before celebrating the rest of their day at The Longcross Hotel.
