This week’s post features the wonderful wedding of Jamie & Phil who got married last August. The couple had a relaxed wedding at the Bickley Mill Inn nestled amongst the beautiful Devonshire countryside. This is my last posted wedding from my 2016 season and was a delightful event to photograph.

Jamie & Phil weren’t originally planning on hiring a photographer, as they wanted to keep the day low-key. Fortunately for me, they had a change of heart and hired me to document their day. They gave me a detailed brief to photograph their day discreetly without any directing or posed picture. This was fantastic, as it’s  one of my favourite way to photograph a wedding! Often the most precious moments captured I find,  are from candid moments.

The day began with the bridal preparation. A buzz of activity with lots going on including hair, makeup, champagne drinking, and lots excitable children running riot all over the place!  The rest of the day then took place at the Bickley Mill Inn with a delightful ceremony, a sit down meal, live music, hilarious speeches, and excellent disco. It was a wonderful day to be part off! Below are a small selection of pictures from the 700 images delivered.
