The Summer So Far!

It has been quite a summer so far for my Devon wedding photography coverage. I have neglected to post my weddings recently so far this year. Under the circumstances, it has been a great year so far for weddings shoots, which I am very grateful for. The weddings I have photographed, I am hoping to share in the coming weeks.

New Barton Barns

So to today’s post, I wanted to share the amazing Devon wedding of Leah & Scott at New Barton Barns. A beautiful coastal venue I enjoyed visiting previously for the wedding of Matt & Hollie a few years ago, but sadly is possibly in the last year of being a wedding venue. 

Preparation & Ceremony

I photographed the entire day of Leah & Scott’s wedding, from getting ready in the morning until the first dance late into the evening. The day started at Leah’s Plymouth home with the bridal preparation before taking the short drive to Wembury and New Barton Barns for the ceremony. The ceremony room is a wonderful barn space decorated in a rustic style. Leah’s dress looked amazing when she arrived and the ceremony was very moving and full of emotion.

Hog Roast & Live music

Shortly following the ceremony, we journeyed to her parents home garden where an amazing hog roast and live music was awaiting us. In typically summertime fashion, the weather did get rainy but it only lifted the spirits to what was an amazing occasion with family and friends. It was such an awesome wedding to photograph and a huge privilege. I thank Leah & Scott for having me as their photographer for the day.
